What is Atlas?

Atlas is SOBA's new member-only home search platform, where you can browse, search, and filter property listings across multiple European regions.

Why the change from Cheap Property Spain, Italy, etc. to SOBA?

We wanted to streamline your experience. Instead of managing different accounts and platforms for each region, SOBA offers one unified home search platform, Atlas, making it easier for you to find your dream property.

What regions are currently available on Atlas?

At launch, Atlas includes property listings in Spain, Italy, France, and the Balkans.

Will I still receive my weekly newsletter?

Yes! We will continue to produce our weekly newsletters for all four regions: Spain, Italy, France, and the Balkans. Each newsletter will feature links to property listings on SOBA, where you can view full details and contact the agent. Please note that you must be logged in to your SOBA account to view the listings.

What do I get access to with my membership?

• SOBA+ Members: Full access to all property listings across all regions.

• Regional Members (Italy, Spain, Balkans): Access to listings within your subscribed region.

How do I access the new Atlas platform?

If you're a SOBA member, simply log in to your account on our website at www.soba.homes. From there, you can access the Atlas platform and start browsing properties.

Where do the property listings come from?

Our team manually curates listings from various sources, including direct submissions from property sellers and real estate agents who want to feature their homes on our platform.

Do you earn commission from property sales?

No, we don’t earn any commission from property sales. Our revenue comes from membership fees, allowing us to provide unbiased, high-quality listings.

What if I need help logging in or navigating Atlas?

What is 1:1 email support and custom searches?

• An exclusive benefit for SOBA+ members who opt for yearly billing.

• We know that buying a home abroad can be daunting, we make it easier by becoming your 24/7 advisor on all aspects of the home buying journey.

• Custom searches based on your budget, region, and preferred property types! Simply email us your criteria and we’ll get to work building a custom list of homes just for you.

• Yearly SOBA+ members can simply email us with any questions about home buying, visas, regions, culture, language, you name it! We will do our best to answer it and if needed, connect you with experts.

What does each newsletter include?

Each newsletter includes at least 12 properties for sale or rent with a link to the original listing and the agent’s contact information. Plus, each issue includes helpful articles with information on the specific region and curated advice on buying abroad.

When will I receive my first issue?

• Each of our weekly newsletters have their own send days.

  • Monday: Spain, Tuesday: France, Wednesday: Italy, Thursday: The Balkans

• As a member you have access to The Archives which includes all past issues of your chosen newsletter. You will find The Archives in the membership area by logging in to your account after signing up.

I want to buy one of the homes in the newsletter, what do I do?

That’s great! Open the listing for the home you’re interested in, the contact information for the agent will be found within the listing. I recommend emailing them or using the built in contact form on the listing (if applicable). If there is no reply, then give the agent a call to request more information.

Can non-citizens buy a house in Spain, Italy, France, or the Balkans?

Yes! All the countries we cover are very open to foreign buyers. They actually encourage it in many cases! Towns all over Europe have been struggling with depopulation for years, your purchase is a great way to help save a beautiful home and bring new life to the area.

Are you a real estate agent? Do you get commissions?

We are not estate agents and do not receive commission for any of the proprieties featured in the newsletter. This means we are unbiased with the properties we find. Our goal is to inspire and educate you on the various markets to make your home buying journey easier.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time! If you’re truly unhappy with your experience, we offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
